IMPORTANT ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE REGION:-
 

1.              Mrs. Daisy Anthony, TGT(Maths) of Kendriya Vidyalaya, AGCR Colony received                  Rs. 6,000/- as honarium from Central Institute of Educational Technology, NCERT for writing the Video Script “A visit to Mathematics Theatre”.

2.             Master R. Vighanesh a student of Class VI of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sector.8, Rohini             (1^st Shift) has been awarded with “Kala Bhushan” for achieving consecutive three years Gold Medals from the Nehru Bal Smriti for instrumental music competition conducted every year.

3.             Kum. Aditi Dubey of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Gole Market was awarded Silver Medal and Rs. 10,000/- as a National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement in Roller Skating Sports for the year 2008 as recommended by National Selection Committee of Ministry of Women and Child Welfare.

4.             Master Hitesh Kumar of Class VII-A of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Paschim Vihar has received a price of Rs.6,600/- as Sports Scholarship Award for the year 2007-08 from Sports Authority of India, NIS, Patiala.

5.             Master Suraj Diwan of Class VI-A of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pushp Vihar (2^nd Shift) got Ist Prize in Slogan Writing Competition organize by BSES on Energy Conversation. He shall be awarded at a function by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi Smt. Shiela Dixit.

6.             Three students have been awarded 11^th KVS Junior Mathematics Olympiad :-

         Master  Amit of KV, Tuglahakabd  - Prizes of Rs. 5,000/-

         Master Guntash of KV, Gole Market – Prizes of Rs. 4,000/-

Master Rajesh Kumar Meena of KV Tughlakabad – Prizes  of Rs. 3,000/-
